Florida frequently has thunderstorms that pop-up and then rapidly disappear. In the event you see a thunderstorm approaching, seek shelter indoors. The storm will quickly pass; however, Florida is the lightning capital of the world, so please don't fool with Mother Nature.
Florida also receives its share of hurricanes. Hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30. In the event of a hurricane or tropical storm please heed the advice of your local authorities.
